What I Don’t Have..

I have a diary on my nightstand that I started when I was 8 years old. Once I graduated from high school, I stopped making entries, and after finding it my moms house and reading through my inner most thoughts as a maturing woman, I found it terrifying. I literally used it as an outlet for everything. Happiness, confusion and most of all anger. In one sense it’s nice to see how far I’ve come and how certain life events that seem the most tragic, really aren’t. But on the other I got a chance to tap into the beginning of self-doubt and lack of confidence.

I remember seeing an entry about how I wish I looked, and it included having red hair. I wanted a head full of red curly locks. It wasn’t until I was a tad older that I realized that natural redheads are about 1 – 2% of the population so those that are are extremely unique and should wear it proudly! I tried dyeing my hair red at a couple points in life and didn’t like the look, however I never gave up hope that if I was a natural red head, it would be gorgeous.

I found some images online recently that reinvigorated my love for unique beauty and I wanted to share them with you.
