I’m constantly trying new products and sometimes there are some that slip by me unnoticed. I received this Jelly Pong Pong eyeshadow pencil in last months Ipsy bag and last Friday, I was at the point that I want to give it a try. To round out the Summer, I’ve been giving my black winged liner a break and trying more effortless looks with my makeup…. Perhaps, it’s my lingering laziness that I can’t shake!
I wanted to try a brown smoky eye for the office and thought this pencil would be the perfect tool. It’s not only an eyeshadow but also an eyeliner! I started by applying it to my entire lid by tracing my crease and gently filling in the empty space. I was shocked at how creamy this pencil applied. It wasn’t rough at all. I then traced my waterline and smudged a bit under my bottom lashes. To blend into my crease, I used a MAC 217 brush to gently buff the product into the crease. I finished the look with two coats of mascara and a nude lip. I really liked how this brown made my eyes look even browner and the product had a beautiful copper finish to it.
This is perfect for those that are new to makeup or want a beautiful look without taking up too much time, or dirtying too many brushes.
