Happy Memorial Day to everyone in the U.S.! Since I didn’t have to head into the office today, I thought I would do a bit of cleaning and post about this months empties. If you haven’t been reading my blog I did a post last month about products that I use until the very last drop because those are the ones that I depend on the most! Because I review and post about so many products, I love sharing the special ones that make it to the end.
1. Clean and Clear Makeup Dissolving Facial Cleansing Wipes – Because my skin is very oily, it’s important that I remove every ounce of makeup before I go to bed. My nightly routine involves using a wipe before I wash my face. When choosing wipes, I look for ones that I can do wonders for my eye area because my mascara tends to be very stubborn and not want to come off! These wipes do a great job of removing my mascara, eyeliner and shadows! The best part is, they have never once burned my eyes. I have to keep these in stock!
2. Kimble Beauty Conditioning Masque – OMG!! Hands down, this is the best conditioner I have ever tried. I’m not just saying that. Since my hair is not chemically treated, it’s important for me to use a conditioner that allows me to detangle without a lot of pain (and trust me there is pain!) I divide my hair into four sections before applying to ensure I coat every strand. Then I use a wide toothed comb to rake through any tangles. Once I rinse, my hair feels so incredibly soft. I picked this conditioner up at Target because it was on sale and I haven’t been able to find this product since! I would recommend this to ANYONE that has thick hair and is able to find it. It’s amazing!
3. Doo Gro Tingling Gro Shampoo – So with oily skin comes an oily scalp. My scalp tends to have lots of buildup depending on the weather so when I wash my hair I have to literally strip all of the oil out of it. This shampoo is the only one I’ve used that will do that. I shampoo with this twice and it leaves my hair squeaky clean! It also has a nice minty smell which I love. Before applying conditioner I shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo so my hair won’t dry out. I always keep this shampoo handy in the summer months.
What are your empties? I want to try them!
